What is ATS2020

  • An innovative policy experimentation project funded by the EU Commission.
  • The project comprises 17 partners from 11 EU countries
  • Education stakeholders are provided with a comprehensive learning model and tools to promote the enhancement of students’ transversal skills within curricula.

What are transversal skills

  • Also known as 21st century skills, transversal skills refer to a broad set of key knowledge, skills, work habits, and character traits that are linked to achieving success in school, further education and work.
  • These skills include the ability to think critically, take initiative, use digital tools, solve problems and work collaboratively.

Project AIMS

  • To provide teachers and students with innovative learning approaches and resources for the development of transversal skills.
  • ‘To support the development and assessment of these skills throughout the learning process.
