The pedagogical advisers participating with school teams on ATS2020 project met at NEI. They reported about number and age of pupils, teachers’ preparations, and atmosphere in classes and schools included in the experimental part of the project.
The project experiment started in September this year on 22 primary schools and 5 secondary schools. Pre-test is going to be implemented in October.
The pedagogical advisers also made the plan of visiting the pilot schools in September, with two further visits to take place in winter. The primary purpose of visiting the pilot schools is to remind the teachers in school teams of introductory workshops for development skills, and to discuss the questions arising with the beginning of the experiment. The schools will develop all transversal skills (information literacy, creativity and innovation, collaboration and communication, autonomous learning) in 8 cycles in experimental classes.
The pedagogical advisers of NEI are planning regional meetings in October. Within work groups they prepared the proposals for workshops to be held at the regional meetings, specifically for primary and secondary schools. At regional meetings, monitoring of classes will be possible in addition to exchange of experience on developing skills in practice.
Two manuals will be prepared within the framework of the ATS2020 project: a teaching guide which will collect the pedagogical advisors’ teaching and learning scenarios, and a teaching guide, which will be a compilation of all good examples of teaching and learning scenarios, prepared by the teachers.
We wish the students, teachers and principals a successful school year.
