A fourth ATS2020 workshop with teachers participating in the experimental group of ATS 2020 took place at the Pedagogical Institute in Limassol, Cyprus on 14th September 2016. Three more workshops had already been implemented- one on 8th September and two more last May during which teachers had been introduced to the goals, activities and online platforms of the project.
The meeting aimed to facilitate teachers in designing the learning cycles that they are expected to implement in class, help them develop understanding of the assessment tools and get hands-on experience of the digital environment which has been selected in the framework of the project.
The project coordinator presented the various stages of implementation and explained the process of designing the learning cycles. The 26 teachers who participated had the chance to share their thoughts and concerns offering valuable
feedback to the project.
Teachers were guided to the web platforms Office 365 and Mahara and had the chance to the make a provisional design based on the topics that had selected. They were also informed about the next steps in the project which will include the finalization of the learning designs as well as additional preparatory actions for the smooth implementation of the project on school level.
