On 29th September 2017 the ATS2020 learning model was presented at a conference organized by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute in collaboration with Frederick University titled: “Information Society, Mass Media, and Education”.
The Head of the Department of Educational Technology at CPI Mrs Anastasia Economou explained how the process of putting together an ePortfolio- which is a major pedagogical element of ATS2020 learning model- helps students develop transversal skills. She also talked about the experience of implementing the ATS2020 learning model in Cyprus schools.
The conference aimed to provide teachers of different levels of Education with the most up-to-date scientific knowledge, regarding Information Society, and more specifically regarding the interaction of Media and Education during periods of change and crisis.
At the conference, contributions were also made by academics from Frederick University, and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as by Media executives
