The 7th Partner meeting in Santiago de Compostela in Spain was a great occasion for sharing experience and discussing the initial report.
Ten countries presented their experience with the pilot experiment in their schools. Partners reported about number of schools, models of implementation, examples of learning design, subjects, the grade students, experimental and control classes, interdisciplinary topics, ICT tools, promotional videos, booklets, training scenarios, tutor teacher model and events.
Partners also reported about positive feedback about ATS2020 project: collaboration between teachers, integration of transversal skills, including ICT tools into teaching and implementation of the ATS2020 approaches through it. The teachers are focused on student reflection in the classroom.
Partners from National Education Institute presented the samples of schools, teachers and students by individual country. Partners from Center for Education Research and Evaluation reported about performing a qualitative analysis of pre and post assessments and questionnaires, as part of the ATS2020 project. Partners from Education Research Institute gave us a short overview of instruments and progress of quantitative evaluation which is part of the experimentation evaluation. The final results will be interpreted on the country level.
In workshops, all partners discussed the first experimental results, conclusions and policy recommendations per county, on national and European level.
The third day partners visited the secondary pilot school EIS Plurilingue Rosalia de Castro in Santiago de Compostela. Their students presented their experience with transversal skills by giving examples of what they did last year in classroom
The 7th Partner meeting in Santiago de Compostela showed us that the ATS2020 project has challenges on the way. The great three days partner meeting concluded with a wish that ATS2020 project would be implemented in the education system globally.
