Mrs Anastasia Economou, Head of the Department of Educational Technology, CPI delivered a presentation, at the Peer-Learning Activity of Working Group on Digital Skills and Competences which was held in Tallinn, Estonia from 3rd- 5th October 2017.The presentation, which was delivered through skype connection, outlined the first outcomes of ATS2020 experimentation as a way of contributing to the discussion of digital integration in Education.
The Peer Learning Activity set out to analyze the tools of diagnostic assessment and discuss its role in increasing teaching effectiveness; explored the impact of the integration of digital technologies in Education, and looked into assessment methods; explored the need for adaptation of national assessment methods and discussed what e-assessment can provide for teachers, parents and policy makers.
The role of the Working Group on Digital Skills and Competences is to look at the development of digital skills and competences at all levels and stages of learning , as well as at the potential challenges of digital technology use in education.
